How to approach the PMP preparation?
o Before the training start, ensure to do the preparation as guided by us.
o Kindly go through the Roadmap here with to understand the high level events.
o During training, further guidance on your preparation will be provided.
What training material/references to Study from before training start?

2. Soft Copy of PMBOK from PMI website.

o Once you are a PMI Individual Member(see next section), you may download it here.
3. How to study from the PMBOK guide?
o At the end of the PMBOK, refer to the glossary section which consists of Project Management Terms and Terminology.
o Start reading Term after Term(understanding, visualising, applying).
o If any questions/doubts arise during this preparation, make a note of the same and bring them to the classroom training.
o It is advised that you finish the Glossary section terms before participation on the training, though not mandatory.
o And if time permits, you may also skim through the Chapter 1-2-3 which are foundation for Project Management.

Participate in the PMP training
o Expect Training confirmation email from GlobalSkillup Team with Agenda, Confirmed Training Venue & Contact Information.
Usually sent one day before Training starts on Friday.
How to participate in the training?
o Ensure to engage yourself with full focus on the understanding of subject rather than to memorize.
o In case, you are not able to understand any topic, please stop the trainer and seek clarity right then.
o Perform all classroom activities as guided by the trainer and be on schedule all days of the training.
o It is expected that you conduct and behave in a polite and friendly manner with participants & trainer.
o Make the most out of your training by networking with participants & trainer cordially.
After completion of the PMP training
o Complete the training exercises or actions provided by the trainer during the training.
o Complete the detailed self-study as mentioned by the trainer during the classroom.
o Dedicate at least 3-4 Hours on a daily basis to perform focussed study(not in front of your TV/mobile/laptop) in a non-disturbing space.
o During your self-study & preparation any questions arise, seek advice from the trainer by sending an email/with a phone call.
After completion of the PMP self-study
o Your mock exam account is activated on the next day after completion of training, it is accessible for next 45 days from the day activated.
o Please utilize your mock exams to take your preparation to the next step.
o Based on your mock exams performance to score 85% or more, you will be provided further guidance and feedback towards your PMP exam.
o Schedule your exam with PMI at a Prometric Test Centre and pass the exam.
After Achievement of PMP Credential
o Ask for PMP maintenance by dropping a note to hi@globalskillup.com
