Description

Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) Certification is a confirmation of the acquired level of an individual’s capabilities and knowledge of managing and bringing process improvements by using the data door approach of Six Sigma. This course curriculum is inline with Internationally Certified ASQ(American Society for Quality) and certificate provided by Internationale Body for Six Sigma Practitionaire IBSSP.org

Completion of this training also provides 16 PDU(Professional Development Units) which may be utilized towards the maintenance of other Credentials such as PMP, PMI-ACP, PgMP and so on.

Who should attend Six Sigma Green Belt?

Individuals who want to achieve Green Belt Credential to participate & support in Six Sigma Projects. Those who want showcase their Quality Leadership strengths in the organization. Leading Six Sigma projects is their primary responsibility and they practice it full-time.

Six Sigma Certification can be done by anyone, from any domain, only pre-requisites is to have basic knowledge of English. To get a six sigma certification, one has to find a mentor or six sigma training institute, wherein one can learn six sigma methods and fundamentals and complete project work.

Pre-requisites for Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

Any individual can take up the LSSGB certification. Although, we recommend Individuals to have a good amount of at least a couple of year’s experience in Corporate/Industry/Business to understand the practical application of Lean & Six Sigma Concepts.

Course Objectives

To provide competency which is sum total of knowledge, skill, and experience (hands-on practice) on Six Sigma Green Belt topics by training the Green belts in elementary Minitab usage and then verify level/ degree of competence through the certification process.

Methodology

Highly interactive classroom sessions including run through Minitab training, case studies, practice sessions, and project identification exercises. Participants are expected to bring their laptops for exercises.

Training Format

GlobalSkillup conducts a 2 days training program leading to Six Sigma Green Belt certification. The training is conducted on weeks-ends(Sat & Sun) and public holidays to enable the working executives to complete the course without affecting their work and career. Project from your organization is NOT mandatory for participation in the Training. However, if you could be part of a project, that would dramatically help you understand the project.

Exam and SSGB Credential Award

As such worldwide there is no Central Authority for Six Sigma. Certificates can be provided by various authorities such as ASQ.org, IBSSP.org, IASSC.org, tuv-sud.in.
GlobalSkillup provides Certification inline to IBSSP.org. Here is a brief outline for IBSSP.org criteria:
  • Post Training, Six Sigma Course-related exam will be conducted in paper format.
  • Exam duration of 1 Hour with 45 Multiple Choice Questions with no negative marking.
  • Scoring 60% is mandatory. For total 45 Questions, one should score 27 or more correct answers.
  • The evaluation will be done by the Trainer inline to the IBSSP.org mandate.
  • LSSGB Credential will be awarded upon the successful pass of the exam only.

Six Sigma Green Belt Re-exam

  • 2nd Attempt: In case, one does not pass with the desired score – A further 1-week timeframe will be provided for revision of content and retake of the exam at no extra cost. The retake of the exam will be in online format and details will be shared with such individuals at no extra cost.
  • 3rd & Subsequent Attempts: In case, one could not take the exam in the specified 1-week timeframe or fails in the 2nd Attempt, one can avail the re-attempt of the exam by paying the re-exam fee of 20% of the original price paid for the course training.
